What is quantum mechanics? Here is my definition:
Quantum mechanics is the study of subatomic processes based on properties that consist of indivisible units
The name 'quantum' comes from the quantized unit which used throughout quantum mechanics. In quantum mechanics, all physical properties (for example time, length, energy, etc) are thought to consist of indivisible units at the smallest level of reality. The photo above is Max Planck who first introduced the idea of a quantum in 1900.
