This post is a explanation of why my first blog was originally named 'Econ Analysis Tools'.
In 2015, I created a macroeconomic data website at econfactbook.org with the purpose of displaying the structure of an economy using a consistent and simple format. The original title of this blog, 'Econ Analysis Tools' is a reference to my economic data website and the potential of creating webpages that help people view economic phenomena with greater clarity.
The original title of this blog is NOT a statement that all of reality can or should be analyzed economically, a philosophy that I am opposed to. That has never been the aim of this blog. I believe that reality is too subjective and diverse to be reduced into economic or utilitarian terms.
